RTS sterile connector
RealTop RTS Disposable Sterile Connector is a single-install, single-use, single-use connector compatible with gamma irradiation and autoclaving. Dedicated to the biopharmaceutical process:
• Aseptic connection between hoses under normal circumstances.
• Can be used in combination with disposable bag-related products, as well as sterile connections between tank containers, filters, and pipes in ordinary environments.
• RTS connectors can be used to connect sterile filters, tubing assemblies, and process vessels. The connector can be used in different upstream and downstream production processes, such as for end formulations in clean or unclean environments.
• Suitable for aseptic sampling in biopharmaceutical processes. The RTS connector is composed of male and female connectors and does not rely on environmental protection to achieve sterile fluid connection.

Sterility Assurance: The RTS connector assembly was tested using 106 B.diminuta for bacterial challenge aerosolization. The RTS connector assembly was connected according to standard operating procedures in a bioburden environment of 106 B.diminuta, and a 7-day culture test using sterile medium flow to prove that the connection is sterile, ensuring that the product can achieve sterile connection in the ungraded area.
